i was born on a farm and helped out there until i graduated from Tipton High School in 1961. i went to Ball State Teachers College ( in those days) and graduated from Ball State University in 1965. i think 3 years later, I finished my Graduate degree in education.

I taught 39 years, mostly in lower elementary education ( K, 1, 2, 3 ). 6 years in Indiana and 33 in Constantine, Michigan.

I have two boys who I love so much, Chad and Doug. They are such a blessing! i also have 3 grandboys, Zach, Matthew and Deacon - who are identical twins - who are precious to me. My daughter-in- law is also a blessing, Joya.

i always wanted to attend Bible College, but I couldnt find a way it could be done in the natural. Then NCF opened their own Bible Institute. i was so thankful to God, who knew my heart's desire, and blessed me with the time and opportunity to attend Bible School.

i learned so much, and our graduating class of 12, drew close to one another...but also closer to God. Oh, how He loves us! To this day, I am thanking the Lord for blessing me with that fellowship. I also want to thank NCF for making this Institue available again.
